Crohn's disease

I am also going to use my blog to follow the medical part of my life, since it has all of a sudden became a big part of my life. I was diagnosed with Crohns disease on Friday August 27th, 2010. Right now I am working with the doctors office, the pharmacy and the ins company trying to get a medical plan I can afford. The first set of drugs was almost $500,but they have got it down to $157. Which is a lot better but with all my other meds I will be spending Over $200 which will use a big chunk of my social security. Hopefully I can keep this blog going because I am also makeing a altered journal to keep track also.

A Cool Breeze

It has been hot around here! But, we have a breeze tonight and so I opened the windows and watching the curtains blow.

Busy as a Bee

I am so new to blogging I get hung up on reading and enjoying everyones blog pages and talent that I don't write in my own blog. This will slowly change, however, this week I will be out of pocket. My cousins daughter is getting married this coming Saturday and I have to wrap her present, a nice set of glasses, and I believe I will paint a picture for their home. I also have to color my hair, which for me is a two day process since I don't go to the hairdresser. I will have to color the blonde, then color the dark brown underneath and lowlights the day after.

I was given about ten garbage bags of fabric the other day. YEA!!! Now I can sew my cuffs and handbags, also work on my fiberart wall hangings. I have to go on ETSY and get some more trim work. It is really great when I can use my jewelry items and my crochet items for trim also.

Well, I am calling it a day.

Snazzy Cottage Redo dilemma

Well, my landlord, which is a great landlord in many ways, doesn't really want me to do alot of changes. Alas, however, he has agreed to let me paint the bedroom walls and trim. Baby steps, baby steps lol. Wish me luck
